Switchable Graphics - how ?

I've read about the T400 having switchable graphics

some screenshots show an option in the FN + F3 menu, were the user may select between two graphic modes - i do not have this option :(

i have a slider, and a button to select power scheme.

Some people suggest that the graphic cards will switch automatically based on the use... i just want to know or force which card im using...

the BIOS has 3 options - but selecting the Intel card wasn't a success... Windows never showed, only a black screen appeared !!

any suggestions ?

thanks.

if you left click you should see an option switchable graphics. also its linked to the power options so if you use max performance you can use the discrete graphics, if u use power saving modes it switches to the on board graphics. if you don't see these options try reinstalling power mgt.

Thanks

Thanks for pointing that out!

I also thought the switchable graphics was out of action.

I tried to reinstall pwr mgt software, but I still don't see any feature that allows me to bond graphic card to power plans...
