T500 - Mute/ThinkVantage button issues

Hey all,

Have a month-old T500 and so far enjoy it a lot. It's a solid machine.

Anyways, I'm having issues with the mute/ThinkVantage buttons. Mute will not work as intended (won't mute or unmute).

If it's muted or unmuted, I can change the volume w/ the up and down buttons but it won't unmute unless I open the speaker in the taskbar.

Also, the ThinkVantage button doesn't work (or it does and nothing pops up). Is this related to some program that begins w/ ACS, as I've had a few instances where I've come out of hibernation and have had a message box stated that ACS closed (similar to the screen after you CTRL+ALT+DLT kill a program, asking you to send information to Microsoft).

System runs XP. If other specs are necessary, let me know and I'll post them.

Any ideas?

For those things to work, you need the productivity center and the hotkeys app installed. You can change the settings of the thinkvantage button with the registry if you don't like the productivity center. Also, can we get the process name from the ACS problem? (ACS.exe?)
