I'am look for some one who can run HD Tune or HD Tach in his Thinkpad to know if those model have the 1.5 Gb/s limitation.

Hi Pascal,

I have the Memoright GT 64Gig, but I thing the max read sequential is not fast enough to test this. I get 117MB/sec read spead as max (HDTune)

Yes, it looks this drive can not read more than 120MB/s so it don't help to know if the Thinkpad is limited or not.
