CTO Now Available in Australia for T400/500

#1 Post by bill bolton » Fri Nov 07, 2008 5:23 pm

Lenovo Australia is now offering CTO options across a range of models including T400/T500s.

Base configrations for the T400 are 7417 (Intel GMA X4500 GPU) and 2764 (ATI Mobility Radeon GPU)

Cheers,

Bill B.

Bill,

It's great news for us here in Australia after years of being denied the ability to configure our own spec systems.

I'm now about to order a T400 CTO with all the bits I want.
A20m, T41p (2373GEM), T60 (2623A11) + Advanced Dock, T400 CTO, X200s CTO.

I've just done that!

Make sure you use the AUJUSTFORYOU ecoupon at checkout (good until November 17th).

Thanks Very Much Bill.

The ecoupon works on the Affinity site and just saved me another AUD$337.38! off my CTO specification.

Thanks again.

I saw the spec you posted on Whirlpool... its fairly close to my configuration, except that I went for the 2.53 GHz processor and longer warranty period.

kiwimeat,

The Lenovo Order Status page should eventually give you a DHL GLOBAL FORWARDING reference number which appears to be clickable but for me just throws up a HTTP 403 error message.

However, if you go to http://www.dhl.com.au/publish/au/en/esh ... .high.html and select theDanzas/Excel Tracking Ref Number category and enter the full DHL reference number in there, you will get at least some information on the shipment. It appears to be tracking at the container level.

Hi Bill,

I went with the P8600 because of the lower heat (25w v 35w in the T9x00 cpu).

Mine is a day or so behind yours.

My Ultrabay SATA drive adapter shipped on the 12th. Should be here soon.

My T400 is showing as expected to ship 13/11. But no update yet as the Lenovo order server is unavailable.

Did you notice that on the order the Bluetooth, Wireless options are not listed (or at least this is how my order is showing)?

Regards

Aaron.
