Intel 5300 XP driver not on Lenovo site

I must be missing something. I did a MS OEM disk XP install on my T400. After downloading and installing most of the drivers I don't see one for the wireless card. There is a driver for Vista but not for XP. I downloaded a driver from the Intel site but it does not appear to be working well at all. Constantly disconnects with a reboot nescessary. I don't have control of the card with Fn F5 either. I am using the Windows wireless configurator since AC does not see any wireless cards.

Also if I switch to discrete graphics I get a blank screen. There may be an external output as I have not connected the T400 to a monitor. I have to enter the BIOS and default the settings with a blank screen to get LCD output again. I think the motherboard is bad because I have tried three hard drives with different factory recoveries. In the Vista installs the driver for ATI switchable graphics keeps getting downloaded with System Update but fails the install. A manual install fails too.

Did you try the Vista driver? They sometimes work.

When I attempt to install the Lenovo Vista driver the install immediately fails and I am given the option to send the error report to Microsoft.

Thanks Bill. This driver appears to work normally. I saw that listed but since that section did not list the 5300 I did not click on it. Thanks again.

Has anyone seen the PCI Simple Communications Controller in their hardware list? Mine has a yellow exclamation point. When I search here I find 8000 plus hits.

Thanks in advance.
