Hello, my user has a T500, with compement 44C1919 ( SBB INT.GRAPH.MEDIA ACC X4500).

He also has an "Advanced Mini Dock" part # 250410U.

He would like to run 2 external monitors...1 VGA and 1 DVI.

Does anybody know if this will work? Or, is it supposed to work, but I should expect problems?

Thanks in advance for any/all thoughts or assistance.

TPB

It will. I don't think DisplayPort + DVI will work - but as long as one monitor is VGA, you should be fine. Your built-in LCD will turn off when you do this though - you don't get 3 screens.

Thanks Andrew, I appreciate your response! I'll have my user give it a try. I also asked my Lenovo rep, and he was not as hopeful...but I am hoping you are right. If I hear back from the uesr, I will post here. Thanks again.

You could try adding Advanced Dock into mix. It can handle additional graphics card, though support seems to be buggy.

If you can get one to fit. I've had no luck getting a PCI-E card to work.
