First disc media format to create recovery discs for T400

I'm about to create a set of recovery disc for my T400 and wonders if it is still true to use a CD-R disc for the first disc, and the rest using DVD-R / dual layer DVD-R?

When I did my R60 I used a DVD, but it was a CD. I know this because when I made an ISO of it, it was only 400MB. I did burn and use it. Both the CD and DVD discs had no problems.

I just did a T400 set the other day. Use a cd for the first disc and a dvd for the second disc.

@carbon_unit : did you used a dual layer disc? What version of Vista do you have?

I just used single layer DVDs for all the recovery disks when I made the set for my T400..... I foget if they were +R or -R.

You can now also use RW media if want to.
