Hi Folks,
I'm about to get my motherboard replaced due to the choppy audio issue. I'd like to make sure I get the newest rev installed when the tech comes, though. Anyone know what rev number I should look for on the new motherboard to make sure it's the newest one?
Thanks,
Allie
Latest T400 motherboard rev?
Re: Latest T400 motherboard rev?
I had a T400 board replaced too. The discrete GPU didn't work with a blank scrren on startup. The old board had no notes that I remember about revisions. There was a date code after the serial number that was 808 which I thought was August of 2008. This was about the same time the T400 was released.
I didn't have any choice of the replacement board though. As long as it works as intended I don't think there is much you can say about it.
