New T400 Owners

#1 Post by wswartzendruber » Mon Feb 09, 2009 5:00 pm

Do the T400s that are coming out have more rigid and unwarped frames? Mine doesn't sit level, and I'm thinking of swapping out the frame. I'm particulary interested in the spacing between the keyboard and the frame, as well as how much frame flex there is under the <Enter> and <Backslash> keys.

I can notice a bending when looking at the laptop closed, from the back (battery view) it arcs up a bit like a shallow rainbow. And underneath where the power button is, between that and the media keys the bit of plastic juts up a bit.
