Fingerprint Reader!!!

Ok...here is what it is...I got my T500 like 2 weeks ago...I set up the laptop using Lenovo's welcome program or something...so I set up my fingerprint reader there...then...I ran into some problem with VISTA updates...after trying several times...I just gave up and downgrade my OS to XP Pro...but now...my fingerprints reader still work...it is just that when I am trying to log in XP with my fingerprint...it won't let me...even when the fingerprint still match...then I went to that Lenovo fingerprint software...and I got a message like..."the connected sensor was not initialized by this application. Access denied." So...is there anyway I can somehow "link" my fingerprint reader to my WINDOWS admin account? Or is there a way for me reset my fingerprints reader???HELP...PLZ...
