T400 with 4:3 screen as advertised?

I saw Lenovos T400 videos, there's a T400 with 4:3 screen advertised. Do you know any more about that?

I want to buy a lenovo but need a 4:3 screen.

They are refering to a T61. It becomes obvious once they mention nVidia graphics, Intel X3100 and 965 chipset.

You can find some older T61s with 4:3 screen. Everything since 2008 is wide screen.

Coming from France, I agree too with that !

I can understand that some people may prefer a widescreen, but I will never understand why Lenovo and other notebooks manufacturers don't sell anymore 4:3 screens with their laptops !?

I would really like to see a survey on what people prefer for their laptops: 4:3 or 16:9 ?

It seems that 16:10 screens are far better to market and cheaper to build.

A 17'' wide screen display has vertical space of an 14,5'' 4:3 screen display (17 / 1,173).

To get 14'' 4:3 vertical resolution with a wide screen, this has to be done with a 16,5 '' wide screen display! (14*1,173)
