2765T6U
That the model I have. According to PCConnection specs, it has Intel Turbo Mem Boost wat/ever built-in.
What the heck is Intel Turbo Mem Boost?? And do I need it? And if yes, then how do I utilize it? (W/ minimum footprint)
From the included Lenovo software bundle, I have that one that read Mobile Boradband Connect. I assumed this is to aid in access to Mobile Broandband internet like 3G and such, yes.
I also have a program read Verizon Wireless Broadband Access Slef-Activation on my Add/Remove Program. What is this? Does this has to do w/ the Mobile Broadband card offer?? (I deducted this from previous experience w/ custom build a Thinkpad. One of the step offers Mobile Broadband and you get 2 choices between AT&T and Verizon.) So does this mean my T400 is Mobile Broadband capable? (Has the card built-in)
I am interested in getting Mobile Broadband, but most likely not from Verizon, more like AT&T. So does this changes anything?
Also, if I removed the include Lenovo Mobile Broadband Connect program, would I still able to access Mobile Broadband internet? (giving that I pay to have it) Like in the case of regular wireless internet and that Lenovo Access Connection thing (unecessary to me).
Edit:
Also, I have the Intel Active Chipset something. Same questions, what does it do? do I rrrrrrly need it? and can I run it w/ minimal footprint? If cant, then should I have it inactive/disabled?
Thanks
Off-topic: The On Screen Display program. All it does is just to give you those measure bar when you adjust the LCD brightness and volume right? If yes, then I can just removed it??
