T-400 Docking

I have a two part question, I have a T400 and looking for a docking station will a advance docking part number 250310U work and what is the differance between CA250310U and 250310U docking stations.

Just curious, how come you're getting the Advanced and not the Mini-Dock? The Advanced Dock will work well with the T400. CA250310U looks like the Outlet part number for the Advanced Dock, which means it should be the same part.

Yes, the Advanced Dock will work. The 2503-10U is the part number. I don't know what the CA means, but it is the same thing.
Note that the Advanced Dock is probably overkill for your needs (unless you need the PCIe slot, extra ultrabay slot or card reader).
The Advanced Mini-Dock is much smaller, cheaper and has the same docking functions, with the exception of the aforementioned things.

I went with the mini dock. They were out of stock on the advance docking station in the outlet store.
