T500 battery problem

Hi guys...I don't know if anyone had experienced this before...but my new T500 is really annoying...I mean...I literally cant run the computer on battery only...If I boot up my computer without the AC adapter(using the battery)...the computer will be super slow...it will take longer than 5 minutes to boot up,(approximately 5 seconds with my AC adapter!!!)...then the computer will run super slow...the CPU meter always seems to be high...even worse...some software problem or hardware problem will then occur...IN ALL...it is a MASS...when I run my T500 on battery...So...anyone knows the solution? I will be really happy if this problem is resolved...
