Mouse Pointer DOES NOT move..

Hello

I do have couple T-400 machines TYPE-6474-RL7 & i have Downgraded VISTA to my office VL of XP-Pro and get this issue of mouse doesnt move with the Trackpoint or TouchPad & have to remove the Battery physically and then again insert and then Power ON the machine.

Out of 5 machines., i get this issue in 2-3 and i have installed all the relevant drivers after download from the web as well as AMT SOL and Intel Drivers.

all others work fine though this issue is reallly frustrating as at times., had to restart 3-4 times to make it work.

Have you tried swapping the hard drives around from working to non-working systems to help rule out a software bug?
