It's difficult to comment with so little information. If you tell us what you will be using the computer for (besides games) and what the price is on each of these we will have a better idea of which might suit you best.
.
Cheers...

The price is 575$ for t400, 600$ for t60p.
I usually do web browsing, once in a while I watch movies, games like command and conquer, and some light first person shooters.

The T400 is the best way to go. Full warranty, brand new computer, and it will do most everything you want. The kind of graphics in the T60p are designed for 3D design & other work related apps, not games.

I am not saying that archer6 is wrong since notebook preferences are highly individual. Also, the T400 is two generations newer.
However, IF you can live with a system that has no warranty and that cannot use more than 3GB RAM, has a chipset that only supports SATA150, then you might consider going for the T60p for the following reasons.
1. A 4:3 screen with 1600 x 1200 resolution compared to a 16:10 screen with 1280 x 800 resolution gives significantly larger working area.
2. The T60p is a Flexview screen, so it should be of significantly higher quality than the T400 screen.
3. The ATI v5200 (which basically is a ATI X1700) is actually faster than the Intel X4500 for gaming (check out the GPU-tables at
http://www.notebookcheck.com for details).
4. For gaming, you can choose 800x600 as gaming resolution on the T60p and avoid the "blurriness" that occurs when you use a lower resolution on an LCD screen.

The GPU in the T60p is indeed stronger, and the Flexview screen is a nice bonus. But the machine is bigger and heavier, and paying $600 for an old, refurbished machine w/o warranty is somewhat risky...

Yea I actually opted for T400 because is new, has warranty and its a new generation machine. I don't play games on laptop that often I just mainly play on 24" LCD, using Q6600 and BFG 8800 GTX.
Currently I am using x60s, having XGA LCD, 1024x768, the T400 has WXGA CFL, what is the difference between the one I am viewing on X60s compared to T400 (I dont have t400 yet).
Also how much do you think my x60s is worth now with the following specs and having excellent condition, no scratches anywhere and very clean.
Processor: Intel Core Duo 1.66 Ghz
Memory: 2 GB DDR2
Hard Drive: 100 GB 7200 RPM
Optical Drive: DVDRW/CDRW Multi-Burner
LCD/Resolution: 12.1" TFT Active Matrix Display XGA (1024 x 768)
Dock: X60s Docking station w/Keys Included
Network Adaptor: Intel Pro Wireless 3945ABG
Bluetooth: Present/included
Battery: 4-Cell 2200 mAh, Gives 2:15 hrs on Max brightness & Max processor speed.
Power Adaptor: Lenovo 65W
Thinkpad Pointer: Two Brandnew TrackPoint Caps included
Ports: 3 USB, RJ-45, Ethernet, External Display Port, 1394, SD and Express Card Slot.
Operating System: Windows XP (COA Intact)

I was just about to say that the v5200 and flexview smoke the t400 intel integrated and LCD - but nevermind

,
But considering the information from you last post, i think you pointed out a very important thing - which made the T400 the good choice:
You already have a desktop more than capable of gaming... which probably already has an excellent TFT/LCD, to which you can also hook-up the T400 if you want. From the description of light'ish FPS games, the T400 will be absolutely fine.
Well, the XGA (1024x768) is 4:3, the WXGA (1280x800) is 16:10 - both LCDs have edge-lit CCFL backlights. Icons and text will appear with approximately the same size on the new WXGA 16:10 LCD. Viewing angles should be about the same, so should contrast (which is not very high in practice - but that's how it is with all brands today, more or less) and color.
As to current value of the X60s, i can't comment.
Congrats, I hope you'll get the T400 soon - please tell us what you think of it
