Bluetooth problem

I have a T400 2765-P5M with an intermittent Bluetooth problem. It can be working fine for a couple of weeks and then suddenly drop out.
I currently get the following 2 error messages.
View devices in range: Bluetooth license check failed. Please make sure that the Bluetooth device is plugged in/turned on, the device you are using is licensed for the software and that your license has not expired.
Add a Bluetooth Device: Your Bluetooth device could not start the search for the devices.
The first time, I fixed it by installing the "Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software for Windows XP - ThinkPad". That's not fixing it any longer.
Any ideas?
