does my T400 need this Thingkpad wireless LAN software?

hello,
i got a T400 with a wimax link. i may have deleted this program when i uninstalled the access connections. right now i use the Vista connection software anyhow.
is the wimax adapter the same as a wifi antenna?

question, do i need one of the following programs on my laptop?

ThinkPad Wireless LAN (11b/g/n) for Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit - ThinkPad 2009-05-28

Wireless LAN ThinkPad 11abg, abgn, bg, bgn for Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit- ThinkPad 2009-05-27.

The Wimax adapter is not the same as a wifi antenna. One is an adapter, one is an antenna .
The answer to your second question depends on which wifi adapter you've got installed in the Thinkpad. What is the machine type/model from the bottom sticker on the machine?
