Sorry to post this question .. but I am struggling to confirm that the hard drives are compatible between the T60p that I own and a T500 which I am considering purchasing.

I have a Samsung SSD in the T60 and want to use it in the T500 if I decide to get one.

Yes, they're compatible, both use SATA.
