How do I remove the S Drive

We currently use a shared server drive at our office that is S: on each users computer. It has to be S: for some of our ERP software to function correctly. How do I go about removing the Lenovo Assigned S: partition from the Lenovo notebooks I have purchased? I have searched to forums but found no answers. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Thank you in advance,
Michael

It doesn't seem to work. I am running Vista on these two computers. I hope someone knows how to help me...this is getting really frustrating.

What is ON the S: drive? Just regular files, or a Lenovo recovery partition, or what? If it's just a simple partition it can be re-named in Computer Manager.

This has worked for me:

Ignore the title of the article and scroll down the the details of which registry entries need to be modified.

Lenovo seems to say removing or renaming S "may cause the system to become unstable":

There's a related thread in the General Hardware Section (unfortunately not much useful information yet)
