Two Finger Scroll on t400

I recently upgraded from a T43 to a T400 and I'm hoping I will be able to get a favorite program of mine, two finger scroll, working with my new laptop. Has anyone had any luck enabling two finger scrolling on a T400? Here's a link to the program that worked perfectly on my T43.

When I try to run two finger scroll on the T400 I am notified that "Driver support for multiple fingers is already enabled but the driver still doesn't report multiple fingers. Either you haven't restarted the system yet or your TouchPad doesn't support multiple fingers." I would love to get this running on my t400. I'm addicted to scrolling with two fingers!

Hi,

I'm the guy who wrote this utility.

First thing to do would be to play a bit with different versions of the TouchPad drivers. Try these for example:

Please report back on the outcome.

The utility is a result of a long talk in this thread:

Thank you so much for the info! I was not able to get two finger scrolling working with the program I mentioned, but the modified drivers you linked to allow me to use chiral scrolling which is as good if not better than two finger scrolling (especially for longer documents). If any other T400 users are using standard scrolling bars along the sides of the touchpad, I highly recommend trying out the chiral scrolling feature with this modified drivers. It will work on Vista 64 bit as well.
