T500 Access Connection Problem & possibly hardware problem

#1 Post by ak23316789 » Wed Aug 12, 2009 7:46 pm

Hi all...this internet connection problem has really bugged me for a while. Ever since I owned my T500...my internet connection constantly goes to "local only" while it was perfectly fine when I just boot up my computer. I've switched to couple of different locations to test if it was my router's problem, but it wasn't. Also, my other Dell laptop worked fine in all these location...This connection problem happens the most when I am downloading files using Bitcomet. I don't know if there's any link there. Help plz...if anyone has an identical problem like this.
Another problem is that, my T500 seems to be, not really in one piece...By that I mean, when I move it around, the battery seems to be moved for a little bit. I suppose the thinkpad should be built very solid? Add on to that, when I am watching a video with my thinkpad on my lap, a very gentle movement can cause the video to lag, and then resume when I become perfectly steady...What's a laptop, when I can't even use it on my lap??? Help plz, really desperate.
