I am considering the purchase of a new Lenovo laptop to replace my Z60t. In reviewing the most recent Lenovo Tab Book, they state that the maximum amount of RAM that can be installed in an R400 is 4GB, and that the maximum amount of RAM that can be installed in a T400 is 8GB. I initially thought these machines were similar with respect to RAM, but the Tab Book indicates otherwise. What is the maximum amount of RAM that each of these machines can hold?
Thanks,

They both support 8gb of memory.

Is a shame that the Tab Book is incorrect. And what's worse is that Crucial Memory thinks the machine can handle 8GB while Kingston Memory believes that 4GB is the limit.
