hi all,
i've been looking everywhere for a good external monitor to plug into the vga port of my t400/ati3470 laptop. i've got the wxga+ screen so my max res is 1440x900.
but if i connect a 22 inch monitor that goes up to 1680x1050 for instance, will my vid card be able to render at that resolution? or will i only be able to hit 1440x900, isn't thi sonly a limitation of the screen and not the vid card? 1440x900 on a native 1680x1050 looks really blurry and ugly, i've tried.
i'm looking for a good 22-24 inch screen, 16:10 aspect, that i can just plug into the vga port and have it look nice and sharp. i'd rather not have to get a docking station. anywhere i can find all supported resolutions for this vid card?
any suggestions for a monitor? thanks!
good external lcd for my t400/ati3470?
