What happened to the T400s' Mini Dock Plus with the dedicated GPU?

My question was worded poorly. My interest is in the details. Does anyone have this? If so, just what are the benefits?

I don't think it ever existed.

The dock plus series 3 has extra video ports - but I don't think there is a separate chip. This is something one can do with a GM45 chipset.
