T400 Radeon 3400 - Install Catalyst directly, or mod it?

Hi Folks,
I need to get ATI's newest drivers on my T400. I heard some reports that you can now install the catalyst drivers directly, instead of modding them (at
http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php). Anyone know the truth here?
Also, there's no link for the "mobility radeon hd 3400" on the ati site - just the "radeon hd 3400". I assume that's the one to get, but I'm not sure.
Thanks!

If you are using XP x86, there is a direcy link to download the driver with no mod required.
For all other OS, you will have to use the mod tool, and yes, Radeon HD 3400 is the one to download for mod.

@Tseng - not sure what you mean by the link - if you could provide it, i'd be grateful. I did go ahead and install a modded driver, but i was getting blue screens occassionally. Lenovo put out a new driver in august, so i just went ahead and installed that one. it's working well for me, but i'd still like to know about running the latest ATI on a t400.

alas, no joy. it seems that you have to mod the drivers. installing your link, Tseng, doesn't work. The installation stops, saying I have no supported hardware.
