Active Protection System

#1 Post by Art Vandelay » Fri Oct 23, 2009 9:53 pm

I upgraded my T400s to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. The only Lenovo app I installed was the Active Protection System. However, when I try to open the application, it tells me that it isn't compatible with Windows 7. There is a box I can click called "Run Anyway." Is anyone using the Lenovo Active Protection program with Windows 7?

See... http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... .html#tvap ... and scroll down to Active Protection System. (Its probably in the normal driver matrix by now as well)

I looked in the Lenovo driver matrix under Windows 7 and it was there. 6ask52ww. But it doesn't work. I've tried to install it twice, and after each restart, it doesn't show up anywhere. In Vista it was in a folder called ThinkVantage. Doesn't seem to work in 7.
