Hi there,
I am about to order a T400s with 2Gb Ram in one dimm. And I am going to buy another 2Gb ram by myself so it is going to be cheaper.
However, there are quite a few memory modules and I am a little bit confused which one will fit. Is the folloing one on Amazon the correct one?

Thank you very much.

I would recommend ordering your T400s with the minimum amount of memory possible (i.e. cheapest option) then purchase a 4gb kit from crucial or another reputable source. Intel based computers generally perform better when memory is installed in matching pairs (as opposed to using two different chips from different manufacturers). I do not know why this is, but in my 10+ years as a tech this is what I have learned from experience, been told by every comp manufacturer (including lenovo), and there is even a disclaimer about it on crucial's website.
The 4gb kits are so cheap right now it is probably less expensive that ordering the comp with a single dinn 2g ship in it.

Thank you for your advice. The cheapest option now I think is 1 dimm 2Gb ram on lenovo's website. When it arrives, I will have a look its memory module and try to find if there is any identical one one the internet that I can buy.
