Concerns about the body-design of the T400s

#1 Post by Karakasa » Wed Oct 28, 2009 3:03 am

With all due respect for the design of the new T400s, I want my clampshell and old keyboard with stronger feedback and a thick steel plate underneath back. Do you think that the few savings in production yuan and grams are really worth those sacrifices?

The clamshell on the side was effectively gone with the T61 already. The front/top clamshell is still there.

The keyboard from what's being reported seems to be better with stronger support / feedback compared to T400/T500, but not having first hand experience, I don't know how it would compare to T4x/T6x keyboards.
