Has anyone here had any experience with the 256GB SSD that Lenovo is offering (part 43N3417)? If so, who is the actual manufacturer of the drive? Do you know if it will support TRIM or has other utilities to minimize performance degradation over time?

Toshiba
Can't comment on the TRIM command support or the utilitiy question.
I have had the drive since it was announced and it works fine for me, although I have no experience with any other SSD. My issue for choosing the Lenovo branded drive is support - if the drive fails Lenovo (IBM) replaces the drive same as any other ThinkPad part. And the replacement is generally received next day; something not readily available from other SSD suppliers.

Are you able to run Crystal DiskMark on the drive and tell us the numbers?
