T400 Win 7 Advanced Mini DOck Question

Has anyone had luck making their DVI work with advanced mini dock and win7? Customer support says it wont work until some new drivers come out. I got the run around on multiple calls before I heard this.

I solved it. You just turn off the laptop display on "connect to a projector" and Win 7 does everything by itself! Incredible. I was way overthinking it!
