T400 xp upgrade to 7??

I am interested in upgrading from win xp on my T400 to win 7. Just wondering if it will work -- do I need to do anything special, be aware of anything, etc??? Thanks.

There is no upgrade path from XP to W7. Complete fresh install only.

None, the T400 should have a complete array of W7 drivers available. I recommend the use of System Update 4.0 to do all the driver updates.

Where do I get system update 4.0? I did a search on the Lenovo site, but I'm not sure if I have the right thing.
