trying to get T400 . what does Any Mobile Base + 3Yr Battery Warranty ?
does it cover international warranty ?

Be careful, It may be interpreted to mean that if you connect with a working battery it will be operable.AND that holds for 3 years.

I do not think international warranties apply to thinkpads bought off US lenovo website where you configure your order. Lenovo really doesn't seem to make this clear up front at all. Preconfigured thinkpads (see PSREF) seem to come with IWS.

Actually, it seems that with the latest models, Lenovo finally took to heart the fact that their "international" warranties only valid in select few countries were a sad joke, and all of the current Thinkpads offered on the Lenovo website will show up with warranties valid everywhere. It's really easy to check, since they do display the 4-digit model number for each model you customize. Plug it into the IWS site and you should find where the warranty is valid:

International warranty , yes.Service ..God's Grace. Lenovo(IBM service) does not employ reasonably proficient service engineers BUT They are great
for part replacement.
If you have anything nonstandard (In my country, even having a OS supplied by Lenovo is a
joke) then you are on your own.
