T400 14 inch Difference between LEd and LED backlit ***

What do I get for that extra 50$.Is it only a different light source behind the LCD.Does Lenovo charge only for replacing the power invertor (but keeping my CCFL invertor for free).
Do other vendors follow similar marketing games.?
