when to buy T400 in the U.S.

currently there is a ten percent discount and free shipping. but i guess after the chrismas there is a better deal. could someone tell me when is the best time to buy? the price isn't change that much, which kills me...

If I knew when the best time to buy was, I'd buy stock before it skyrockets and be a multi-millionaire by now.

When you have specific need for a new laptop... waiting around for the
best price is rarely a good strategy.

While I tend to agree, with x-mas a week away and some new t-series slated for January, I'd hold off until after the holidays. At the least, a 15 percent off coupon is likely. They come up often and regular.
