I'm using T400 with Windows 7 Pro(x86).
I've just install Sierra Wireless Watcher for my Sierra AirCard 881 PCMCIA.
After I install it TVAC freeze immediately then it continue freeze randomly. And every time I boot up explorer.exe will crashed because TVAC toolbars was not loaded. If I remove TVAC Toolbar it will boot smoothly but TVAC GADGET still freeze!! I will take about 1-2 min for load TVAC after I install Sierra wireless Watcher. Before that it work fine.
Please Help!

Boot into safe mode and uninstall Sierra Wireless Watcher. It obviously has an issue with the apps and drivers in your setup.

Maybe it is not compatible with access connections. Uninstall that first. Use windows networking.

I don't know enough about Siera Wireless Watcher to answer your question. Does it have a GPS feature? If so, uninstall TVAC. Access connections was designed to run and work with Lenovo adapters and drivers.

I understand that TVAC design for Lenovo adapter. But it seem like TVAC try to control Sierra 881 even it isn't Lenovo's Network Adapter. So after plugged in Sierra 881 TVAC will freeze for a few minutes. Then it will continue work normally. But if I use TVAC Taskbar Tool Explorer.exe will crashed too.
I don't understand why older TVAC on XP doesn't have issue like this.

Well, I've asked you twice to uninstrall TVAC. If you don't want to try that then I'm afraid I can't help you. Good luck.

Look at it this way. If you uninstall TVAC, and then Sierra Wireless Watcher functions 100% normally, that tells you that the problem is an incompatibility between TVAC and the Sierra utility. At least you know what you are dealing with at that point. You can always reinstall TVAC and/or try previous or later versions of TVAC... Once you identify the incompatibility you can propose change to Lenovo and or Sierra, but that is a long shot for the reason I mentioned previously about TVAC...Lenovo adapters only.

R3.1.0.34 Build 2258
TVAC 5.42 (6JC725WW)
both latest I think.
I've tried on X61 with same OS
Same thing happens.
