Thinkpad T400s randomly turning off

I have a new ThinkPad T400s that when working on it, while plugged in, will simply shut off. Not reboot or power cycle but literally shut off.

Has anyone ever heard of this sort of thing or have any ideas what might cause it?

I was thinking about getting a T400s, but did not....

(There's a speaker issue on some T400s's also).

Downgrade your intel video driver to version 1855. Will solve the problem.
