T410s Pulled from Lenovo.com?

I was just about to pull the trigger on a T410s and now it's disappeared from the Lenovo site!?

Is this likely due to demand or what?

It may just be due to the clusterfark of bad information while they fix their stuff.

If it was due to demand, they'd have just put a shipping delay on it and kept pocketing peoples money.

Looks like they've also pulled the T510 and W510. The T410 is the only new model I'm seeing there now.

According to a sales rep. the T410s, T510 and W510 have been taken off the web until Lenovo manufacturing can support lead times of less than 4 weeks.

Thanks for the update. Did the rep have any idea of when that might be? Was hoping to order several T410s' but that may change to T410's if it's going to be months.

As of yesterday projected ship dates are sometime in March.

My T410s order has a ship date of 1/19. Is that even possible?

It indeed looks like it was due to demand, I just got the following from a rep

The T410s was taken down because we have oversold the unit. So I am unable to build a qoute for you at this time. I do not have a estimated date on the return of that model

Lenovo have always been pretty hopeless at establishing reliable supply chains (going by the delays in ordering all my previous ThinkPads).
