LED screen with no light....HELP Please....Warranty expired

My LED screen light died so purchased another LED screen with the exact same model as the original but the new screen LED light is also dead. From what i gathered, the LED screen has no inverter, so i'm not able to come up with any other explanation for the screen having no light. Anyone know anything about the LED sub card, if it has anything to do with the backlight? Don't want to spend money on LED sub card if it's not going to solve my problem.
