It is sad, but it seems that T410 has the same bad screen about which many have complained. On the other hand it is not that bad to know that there are no good reasons to upgrade from my T500 which has better lid, better screen and runs cool and quite.

Eudoxus, the WSXGA+ LCD on your T500 is very nice...I agree, keep it :)

It's good to see that the T410 is a good step up in terms of performance compared to the T400.
I guess it's just the T510 thats the big flop of this generation of TP's.

You are certainly right, Harry. The screen is beautiful indeed. And there are many other tings that I like about this T500 :D

No switchable graphics

#6 Post by Volker » Thu Feb 04, 2010 9:57 am

They write that their T410 had no switchable graphics in contrast to the data sheets (tabook, I guess).

Edit: this is in line with the current lenovo.com web page.

There is a whole topic on this matter here on the forum:
http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=83649

It basically seems that they planned the feature, maybe for selected models but then backed up or something. As a result, no currently available T410 has switchable graphics.
