screen blank after standby on T400 + Win 7

Hi Folks,

Anyone else have this issue? My screen often goes blank just before going on standby (without making it to standby), or remains blank when resuming after standby. It's a real pain - I often have to do a hard power-off. Ugh.

Any ideas?

I sometimes get similar issues. If I put the machine to sleep then wake it, I can sometimes recover
T400s + Win7x64

Same thing here. I have narrowed it down to the plugging or unplugging the power while the machine is asleep.

If I forget and it won't turn on the screen then I'll put it back to sleep with the power button then wake it up again.

interesting. although, sometimes the problem is that the t400 gets stuck while trying to go to sleep in the first place, so trying to sleep it again doesn't help in that situation...
