i apologise in advance if this is a well know secret, but i was reading the hmm and came across this

just unscrew the screw pointed by the red arrow in picture #4 and #5 and voila!

came across this in the hmm...and i believe it applies to the t410s and t410si as well

now i'm gonna get a express card 34 card reader that actually supports sdhc to replace this (i think it's supposed to support sdhc? but it doesn't recognise mine for some reason)

Sorry. Dummy here. I looks like I can remove the 5 in one card reader and insert an express card modem instead. Right? Also looks like I have to remove the keyboard first. Right? Where can I find instructions for removing keyboard? Is it something a klutzy novice can handle or is it a job for the Geek Squad. The T410s was my Birthday present to my wife and I'd hate to destroy it... :D

Ideapad purch Oct 2013. Cannot recommend.

Good find. And I was worried about losing the Express Card slot with the card reader!
