Ive seen quite a few threads talking about the lackluster display of the T410, and I have to say it is a bit of a change from the SL line I enjoyed previously (Flexview). One thing I have found that has helped tremendously is to open the Intel graphics control panel, and modify the Display -> Color Enhancement properties. I have copied my current settings below - they may be a bit much for you, but I have found they make a night-and-day difference on my machine. Hope you find them useful as well!
Brightness: -13
Contrast: 51
Gamma: 0.9
Hue: 6
Saturation: (9-13 seems to be a sweet spot)
Note: Saturation is the really important one - it's what makes colors 'pop'. Problem is that too much makes things look... cartoony? and degraded. Most of the other setting adjustments are to compensate for this effect. The perfect balance, though, really makes a difference
