T510 Charging Threshold

Hello All,
I recently purchased a T510 and plan on using it mostly plugged in. I wanted to lower the charging thresholds to extend the battery lifetime but looking in the power manager, I do not see this option. I'm using power manager 3.12. Reading a few forum posts, its seems that I should be able to do this by going to do this by going to the battery tab and clicking on "Battery Maintenance". When I do this, I do not see any option to change thresholds. Strangely enough, there is a message at the top of the window suggesting I change my thresholds but there are no controls to do so. In the "Charge Mode" box, there is only a check box that says "Automatic". Nothing else comes up when I uncheck automatic. Am I to assume that charge thresholds will adjust automatically?
Has power manager simply not been updated for the T510? Anyone know when the next version is coming out?
P.S. I apologize for the repost from the Lenovo forums; wanted to get a different audience's opinion.
Thanks,
Chris
