It may not be about the T510, but I mentioned it because the T510 and T410 are from the same ThinkPad series and this issue isn't limited to the T510.

If it's still a problem, it's probably not T510 specific, since the problem is in the _software_. The only audio latency related HW issue I know about might be misaligned / malfunctional RTC, the rest is about drivers and CPU scheduling, neither of which is T510-specific.
