Fingerprint reader not showing...OS XP/SP3...

I have a T400(p8400,2GB) with a fingerprint reader.It used to work nicely till I was fooled to
send the box to the thinkpad centre(IBM) for requesting the night led blink.
I just noticed that the fingerprint is nowhere to be seen while logiing in.
How do I set it UP?..device drivers???
T400 2765-T6U
upgraded from Vista to XP(BY lenovo for an extra 60-65 $).

hi..
You can try this > Download the FPR software from Lenovo site for XP and REINSTALL it. Than reboot , and with luck , you should have everything back.
If not , then you have to register etc like you did before

UW !
Alpha = runs my personal network; backups of few websites etc etc & BitTorrent downloads - generally to piss of my USA-ISPs when they complain about me ~ HOGin their bandwith!!.
But its mostly never shutdown and as of yet to have a hardware failure - so am running till it gets one ! > I stoped playing around with it few years ago ,,,, as its got multiple boot - SCO unix to Windows 2008 Server etc etc
