No, it's not a plane. Will it ever be available? I'm based in the UK/Ireland and today marks another day where one Lenovo sale ends and another one begins on their web-site. Alas still no sign of the T410s, nor the T400s, nor the X301 for that matter. That sort of form factor has just completely disappeared in this part of the world (and I'd only want one with a UK/Ireland keyboard). How can Lenovo drop all of these? Can't be good for their business. Does anyone have any information when the T410s will be available?

Yes, it's quite amazing, isn't it. The T410s was announced at the start of January, and three months later it still hasn't even appeared on the Lenovo UK website. In one way perhaps it's for the best, as not many orders seem to have been fulfilled over in the US though things seem to be slowly moving on that front (maybe lots have been sold to corporate accounts, who knows). Meanwhile the discrete model is missing everywhere. It's worth noting that Apple didn't announce any models using the new Intel chips, maybe they knew they'd be in short supply for a while and held off.

A small wait of five months and ... they're here.
