T500 ebay hunting

Okay, I was thinking about grabbing a used T500 off ebay, but, I've come across a problem... How do I figure out if the LCD uses a LED backlight? The sellers seem to be clueless, and I really don't know enough about the T500 to figure this out. How do I find out?

If you can get the machine type and serial number, you can use the
parts look up to see which screen it has.
