T500 W7 permission problems?

Hello,

I have a Thinkpad T500 with windows 7 professional on it. And I have a few weird problems I can't place.

- When I work in word, excel, paint, illustrator, photoshop, indesign, acrobat and I try to save a new file, he says almost every time that I don't have permission to save. BUT it does write a an empty file. When I retry, It asks me to overwrite the file it ones created and it works fine.

So I always have to save a file twice.

- EVERY time i open MS Outlook it says that the outlook wasn't closed properly and that the data files need to be checked for consistency. BUT I always close outlook properly.

- When my laptop goes into standby, and I put it back on. He loses the fingerprint data in the chip. So I have to type passwords all of the sudden. When I re-enroll my prints it works perfect again. Next standby it goes ... lost again.

Somebody could help me with these ones? It's quite annoying, maybe they're ralated.

Kind Regards,

Ward

hi there..
just few thoughts ....
issues you described might be caused by several things - depends
Office 2007 & 2010 have setups where you can change the 'default save to file" maybe you change that location to a directory that YOU CREATED under your user ID. This will solve your 'save twice' issue.

Also might be an idea to check your HARD DRIVE via lenovo tools... and maybe run SCAN DISK and that might fix most of your issues.

hope this helps
Cheers

didn't resolve the problem so far.

Office has nothing to do with the actual problem, since it's also in adobe suite.

I save on MY desktop or on one of my other drives (not c:) so shouldn't be a problem eather

And lenovo tools says it's fine.

Anyone else?
