USB Enclosure for T400s Hard Drive

Hello

I have a t400s and would like to obtain a USB enclosure I can put the hard drive in, to allow for continued use while the laptop is in for repairs (2x so far), in case of failure, etc. I'm not technical, but believe the t400s drive has a microsata interface, or a sata 3.0 interface? I ordered a 1.8" enclosure from Tigerdirect but it has a CE/CF interface which does not look compatible.

Can anyone advise if I indeed have the terminology correct for the kind of interface, and secondly what the best strategy would be to get an enclosure - perhaps an enclosure for a microsata interface or an adapter to use a different enclosure?

Thanks in advance.
